One of coolest places I've been to in sometime. I travel everywhere - and I was fortunate enough to have been introduced to Belle Grove Plantation thru work. The place is filled with some of the most beautiful antiques, wonderful view, excellent accomidations and the place is loaded with history. I stayed overnight. the room was just perfect and the hospitality Michelle and crew give will remind you of visiting your closest favorite relatives, extremely welcoming and warm. The property with its southern styled tree lined entrance and the perfectly manicured landscape with the beautiful slow river behind the mansion is just like something you'd see in an old time movie. I could write a 5 page doc on how you should visit or stay at the plantation. Trust me when I say its the best. Because it is.
My daughter graced me with a tea at Belle Grove Plantation. The experience was so extraordinary. I would recommend it to everyone. Afterward we had a tour of the plantation. Our guide was very knowledgeable of the history of the Plantation and very personable. I would visit Belle Grove again.
Historic location on the Rappahannock river with a great area for receptions and parties.
